Local DSA members are organizing a chapter for Sioux Falls and the Sioux Empire. We need people like you who are dedicated to fighting for a better world. Democratic socialists believe in putting the needs of the many over the profit of the few. By mobilizing the working class, DSA will utilize people power to enact several social reforms aimed at easing and ending the suffering inherent in the institution of capitalism.

While America purports to be the bedrock of democracy, its citizens know this isn't the case. Employees have no voice in their workplace as they continue to be exploited by their employers. CEOs and billionaires leech off the labor of workers like you to make their fortune even greater. The 1% gets ever richer as more and more workers are ushered into poverty. DSA strives to empower workers to democratize their workplace, so they receive the full fruits of their labor.

Pursuing profits at any cost, capitalism thrives off of exploitation, genocide, imperialism, and white supremacy. The ruling class is dependent on racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, and ableism to divide the working class and hold on to power.

The evils of capitalism may seem insurmountable, but the people have the power to abolish the system that has ravaged the environment, massacred entire populations, and invited fascism into the mainstream.
