Southpaw MI is a progressive advocacy group founded by Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, former candidate for Michigan governor. Southpaw MI will support progressive candidates and proposals up and down the ballot through organizing and empowering grassroots activism in support of their campaigns. In doing so, Southpaw MI hopes to promote the values and policies it believes are contingent to creating a more just, equitable, and sustainable Michigan and a better America.
