STAND is a nonprofit that fosters encouragement and engagement to volunteer, take community action, research (opportunities for publishing included) and create art/zines related to environmentalism, humanities and animal rights. We have local volunteer opportunities, a guide to making and publishing research, a forum for students to express themselves and their passions for these topics through art and writing, policy engagement and campaign initiatives, and other activities and learning opportunities.
