We are tenants coming together to advocate for policies that ensure our homes are comfortable, safe, efficient, and affordable. We believe that all tenants deserve to be able to control the temperature in their home, breathe in clean and unpolluted air, and have access to green technology to make our homes more comfortable and efficient.

We deserve the benefits of climate and efficiency upgrades, and we know this can be done while both protecting tenants from price gouging and displacement, and while upgrading our aging building stock to make our homes comfortable and livable over the long term. We know that NYC’s Local Law 97 and New York State’s Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act can help us get there.

We’re fighting for the ability to control the temperature of our homes so they’re safe and comfortable year round, upgrades to our apartments, and safe and unpolluted indoor air. We know that all tenants deserve safe, healthy, and affordable homes.
