The New Resistance USA began in Glens Falls, New York, with the mission to keep the Trump Administration accountable for attacks on our Bill of Rights.  From a Facebook support group came the website to provide resources for civic action and information for our members and the concerned public.

We launched a nationwide event for April 8th, 2017.  The Nationwide Citizen's Stand Against Congress will target Republican legislators whose voting records threaten the rights afforded us in the Constitution of the United States, the safety and welfare of our people, and to the environment and foreign affairs.

Together with local chapters of Planned Parenthood, NAACP, Democrats for America, the Green Party, environmental groups, members of local churches, mosques and temples, and grass-root civic action groups, we will join together in our respective states and congressional districts to make our day of action, April 8th , a "silent protest" that will be heard in the halls of Congress.
