Based in Towson, Maryland, our mission is to educate and organize students, university workers, and others connected to the school or surrounding community to play a helpful and principled role in the movement for true social justice. Throughout this struggle, we will articulate and defend the idea that true human liberation is unachievable under our current system of capitalism. We seek social changes which extend democracy into all aspects of life -- social, political, and economic. This is the struggle for democratic socialism. Our vision of democratic socialism is a class-centered movement which is unapologetically inclusive, feminist, and anti-racist.
