Founded in 1950, Trinity Services, Inc. a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization, is dedicated to helping children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs flourish and live full and abundant lives. Trinity serves more than 7,000 people in more than 35 communities in northeast, central and southern Illinois.

Trinity provides residential services, community day services, behavioral health services, a school program, homeless supports, crisis and prevention services, employment services, respite, and more.

Trinity continually advocates for legislation that would improve the well-being of people with disabilities and mental health needs.

For years, developmental disability services in Illinois have been underfunded by the State, resulting in an ongoing staffing crisis for organizations like Trinity Services. Trinity continually advocates for direct support professionals (DSPs) to be paid a living wage so that this staffing crisis may come to an end, resulting in a better quality of life for both DSPs and the people with disabilities whom they serve.
