Unchained is a non-profit organization in Syracuse, NY. We serve people affected by incarceration all across New York State. We also serve families with kids who are at risk of incarceration in New York State because they have been arrested or suspended from school.

Unchained organizes and advocates to dismantle carceral systems and guarantee access to dynamic, culturally-relevant education. Our mission is to invest in people who have been locked up by police and locked out of schools so that they can fight against economic and racial oppression.
