Vegan Politics is an initiative by Vegan Politico to advance policies for the rights of non-human animals whether by vegan or non-vegan elected officials and highlight political candidates and elected officials who are vegan and to gage how they have or have not used their office to advocate for policy that recognizes non-human animal rights.

Vegan diets alone cannot change the policies that allow the grave injustices committed against cows, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and other non-human animals. Veganism must be a fully formed and functional political movement for justice in order to be effective at mitigating and eventually eliminating animal exploitation.
