Voices for Justice NJ
Voices for Justice is a local volunteer organization and interfaith coalition whose mission is to promote fairness, moral rightness, and the lawful treatment of all refugees, migrants and immigrants through education, community engagement and action.
V4J emanated from a community of faith who believes in the sacred worth, dignity and rights of all people because all people are created in God's image - "Imago Dei”.
Our mission is to promote fairness, moral rightness, and the proper treatment of all refugees, migrants and immigrants. We do this through education, community engagement and action.
We offer “Know Your Rights” cards and other resources, engage in the community with presentations and events, and take action in support of our immigrant neighbors.
We welcome volunteers to distribute materials, donate or deliver food, visit or send cards to those in detention, teach English, attend events, offer legal assistance, give rides, and more.
Hackettstown and the surrounding areas have become a destination for the “tired and poor” seeking a better life and our town is now alive with new restaurants, shops, churches, and more. Let’s continue to thrive together.
