WaterRatesNY is seeking fair, conservation-oriented residential water rates in New York.

We are asking New York State policymakers to address two related but distinct rate-equity problems: one affecting larger households and another affecting master-metered multifamily properties.

We support an optional household-size adjustment for separately metered households and a fairer multifamily rate structure that more directly accounts for the number of dwelling units served, while preserving conservation-oriented pricing.
