We Love Taylor Blvd came together to raise awareness and oppose the exploitative development of the proposed Taylor Center. A proposal that removed housing in favor of options that devalued our area. We hosted a walking tour to showcase the history of our neighborhood and strategize how to enhance what we already have. We have been meeting regularly to build on our strategy and build our coalition. We've been working toward mobilizing and coordinating efforts between community groups. We now have a growing network to launch campaigns focused on community investment, collective ownership of assets, and mutual aid.
