The #WelcomeWithDignity Campaign for asylum rights is composed of dozens of organizations and advocates committed to transforming the way the United States receives and protects people forced to flee their homes to ensure they are treated humanely and fairly. To build a more just and truly humanitarian system we must reject the xenophobia and racism that motivated the illegal and dangerous policies of the past. The Welcome with Dignity Campaign actively works to restore U.S. asylum protections and modernize the immigration system to ensure fair and effective laws and processes, uphold treaty commitments to protect refugees, adopt foreign policies that meaningfully address the reasons people flee their countries, and respond to emerging global challenges.
