Wild Ivy Social Justice Network builds personal and collective power for liberation and justice for Mad people, psychiatric survivors, and others who have experienced extreme states; psychiatric diagnosis; trauma; spiritual emergence or emergency; and/or the harm of having valid responses to the world interpreted through the lens of psychiatry living within the colonial borders of Massachusetts.

Wild Ivy specifically seeks to center voice, choice and access through community organizing, leadership development and power building with people whose experiences of psychiatric oppression (and similar) intersect with other forms of systemic oppression such as racism, sexism, ableism, heterosexism, transphobia, transmisogyny, xenophobia, and/or classism. We do so because we ourselves are part of the communities we organize with.
