The Illinois Our Revolution developed out of a shared vision for social justice, equal opportunity, community investment, and a sustainable future. Inspired by the Bernie Sanders campaign, our organization began as a group of volunteers for the Sanders  during the 2016 Illinois primary election. After helping the campaign win Will County, we sensed the need to continue our work at the local level. Although the Sanders presidential campaign has ended, Our Illinois Revolution continues to advance the campaign’s values and policies within our community.
