For the last six months of union contract bargaining, Sinclair Broadcast Group executives have demanded that workers in Northern Virgina, D.C., and Maryland sacrifice even more to boost corporate profits.

Sinclair is demanding that workers give up the compensation they have long received for being required to work on a day off, skip a meal break, or keep the broadcast running through the night. Worse still, their wage proposals fall short of the level needed to make up for the dramatically increased cost of living in our area over the last several years. WJLA workers know their worth and are standing up to demand respect on the job.
