Youth Voice in Action all started with two high school students who were learning about and witnessing the effects of low civic engagement among youth populations within our nation. We decided to take action on this issue and contribute to the solution.

We are a student-led non-profit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and elevating the voices of young people. Our mission is to cultivate a generation of confident, informed, and empathetic leaders who are equipped to address social, environmental, and economic challenges and actively involve themselves in civics and in their community.

We envision a society where the collective youth voice is valued, respected, and actively sought after in decision-making processes at local, regional, and national levels. By amplifying the perspectives of young people, we strive to create a more equitable and inclusive world where their ideas and solutions contribute to lasting societal change while preparing youth to enter the world of adulthood as active citizens.
