The USS Liberty Veterans Association holds an annual Memorial Service to honor 34 of its shipmates who were Killed in Action during the June 8, 1967 Israeli attack on their ship every year on the anniversary of the attack.

In the 50 years since the attack, no Member of Congress has attended a USS Liberty Memorial Service.

We hope that with your help Members of Congress will be persuaded to believe that those Killed in Action during an attack on a US Navy ship are worthy of being publicly honored.
