We are nearing the end of the 2026 legislative session in Washington State, and it’s coming down to the wire on key priorities to advance immigration justice in our state. Now is the time to take action and ensure our legislators know where we stand and what we expect from them.

TAKE ACTION with JCIJ to send letters to your legislators:

1. Send an email to your state legislators. You can use the sample text included after entering your address.
2. Customize your text. Add a sentence or a small paragraph about why these issues matter to you. You can connect it to your family’s immigration story, your personal history, your values, or all of the above! If you’ve directly supported newly arrived migrants, we invite you to share your experience.
3. Share with your friends via text, email, and social media to grow our number of action takers! This is especially easy if you attended a JCIJ education event - this is the time to put your action planning template to good use by engaging your networks!
