2300 Arena, a live entertainment venue located directly across from the IATSE 8 Union Hall in South Philly, pays their local non-union stagehands a wage below the local area standard. Some of 2300's partners, such as Cage Fury Fighting Championships, also pay substandard wages or use college interns to do much of the production work for their events. Over time, 2300 Arena has put on bigger and bigger shows, including with large clients such as AEW wrestling, bringing in millions of dollars via live broadcasts. We are here to fight for their workers' rights to a fair, livable wage and union representation.
