Sign a letter to Google: Stop hiding your greenhouse gas emissions

Each year, Google releases an environmental report, and does their best to cherry-pick numbers that make them look good, or at the very least, less bad. This year, we dove deep into their past environmental reports to map how the company is really doing – how much energy and water Google is using, and how much its emissions are increasing – as we face devastating consequences from climate change.

Unfortunately, we found out we were right to be suspicious – Google’s greenhouse gas emissions have been soaring at astronomical rates – in fact, they have increased 1,515% since the company started reporting 14 years ago.

Tell Google’s leadership – we need a serious climate plan, not public relations spin.
