Tell the White House & Dept. of Interior: Replace the Lower Snake River Dams and Save Our Salmon!
For decades, tribes across the Pacific Northwest region have been demanding a solution. The four dams on the Lower Snake River have had a devastating impact on fish and on tribal people. The status of orca salmon, steelhead, and lamprey is dire and our window to take action is shrinking due to climate warming. But there is hope.
Congressman Mike Simpson’s (R-ID) Northwest Energy and Salmon Plan is a starting point for solutions. We need your help to bring this bill to the attention of the White House and the Department of the Interior, and ensure they fund this project in the coming reconciliation process.
The Nez Perce Tribe and the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians (ATNI) convened a historic 'Salmon Orca Summit' on July 7-8, 2021 to stand in solidarity with the Tribes and to support protecting and restoring endangered salmon populations in the Snake River and Across the Northwest, and recovering Southern Resident orcas.
Take 10 seconds and add your name and stand in solidarity with tribes across the Pacific Northwest.
Qe'ci'yew'yew' (thank you) for your time and consideration.
