Congratulations Delaware!  The Ron Silverio/Heather Block End-of-Life Options Act has passed the House and the Senate this session.  This bill gives terminally ill, mentally capable adults choices regarding their own death.

Gov. Carney needs to sign the bill for it to become law.  Unfortunately, he is getting many emails and calls from other faith-based groups asking him to veto this bill.  We must contact Gov. Carney and explain that not all faiths oppose this bill!

As persons of faith, our 2nd UU Principle expresses our value of compassion in human relationships and our 3rd UU Principle reminds us to accept one another. This end-of-life options bill celebrates compassion and acceptance!
