Puerto Rico needs your support. A decade of painful austerity, and undemocratic rule must end now. Please contact your Member of Congress and U.S. Senators to demand that they co-sponsor the Puerto Rican People's Power Restoration Act of 2026, H.R. 7833, a bill that would put an end to the unelected fiscal control board governing Puerto Rico.

Ten years ago, Congress passed a law that imposed an unelected Wall Street board that has rolled back labor rights, privatized the still broken electric grid, cut the University of Puerto Rico budget by 50%, while spending billions on consultants with Puerto Rico's taxpayer money.

It is time to end this painful chapter in U.S. colonialism in Puerto Rico before a board like this is imposed on our cities here in the United States.
