Reject the Sham Elections in Burma

In December 2025, the Burmese military is planning to hold illegitimate, illegal, and fake elections designed to cement their iron grip on power and create a permanent dictatorship. These so-called elections are nothing more than a tool for the military to claim false legitimacy.

Because of this, it is critical for all of us to stand up now and fight for Burma’s future. If we do not urge the U.S. Administration and Congress to speak out strongly, there is a real risk that the military will use these fake elections as a basis to legitimize their dictatorship.

Oppose the Scam Centers

Right now, the major scam centers in Burma are controlled and protected by the military. The United States is losing billions of dollars each year to these scam operations — criminal enterprises that are directly tied to and financially backed by the Burmese military.

These scam syndicates fuel corruption, human trafficking, forced labor, and the military's violent war machine. Opposing the sham elections goes hand-in-hand with opposing these scam centers because both are tools the military uses to maintain power, abuse vulnerable people, and exploit the global community.
