On January 27th and in the coming weeks, the City Council will vote on changes to the Inclusionary Housing Ordinance (IHO), the Mobilehome Rent Ordinance (MRO), and the extension of the Multifamily Housing Incentive Program (MHIP) Phase I.

The purpose of this campaign is to help us mobilize against these changes, which respectively will raise income limits on affordable housing, allow drastic rent increases for mobile home owners, and give developers public subsidies while not enforcing minimal affordability requirements.

There are four issues being addressed in this campaign:

• Opposition to IHO changes
• Opposition to MRO changes
• Urge to modify Commercial-to-Residential program
• Opposition to MHIP Phase I Extension without deep affordability requirements
