The Biden-Harris administration has set a 100-day moratorium on deportations for "certain" immigrants. Although this is a promising first step, it is not nearly enough. We demand that the Biden-Harris administration impose a much longer moratorium on deportations of ALL undocumented immigrants, not just "certain" ones, and that our Congressional representatives push for and support such a moratorium. It is time to put an end to the tremendous harm that US deportations have caused the immigrant community during the past several decades, from the 3 million deportations that the Obama-Biden administration perpetrated to the white supremacist cruelty of the policies and actions of the Trump administration.
