Your members of Congress need to hear from you loud and clear that you support significant, sustained federal funding for early care and education. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a robust mixed delivery system of early learning that leverages existing expertise and infrastructure. Such a system works for employers, working families, children and the educators they rely on. However, there are a number of important priorities competing for a limited amount of federal funding, and some lawmakers aren't convinced of the need to invest in early care and education.
