The so-called Save Our Bacon Act would overturn thousands of state laws including animal welfare and worker safety protections such as California's Prop 12. In passing Prop 12, Californians demonstrated overwhelmingly that they support measures to protect farm animals. Big Ag fought it all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court which upheld the law. But the ag industry won't stop - they tried to insert a measure in this year's Farm Bill to invalidate it. Fortunately, some Congress members are standing up to fight it. It's called the Luna-Costa Amendment. Send a letter to your representatives saying you support this amendment.
