Your Input is Needed to Support English Language Development in the 2022 Revision of the Mathematics Framework by May 16!

Dear Colleagues, The State Board of Education is collecting feedback on the 2022 revision of the Mathematics Framework. We need as many people as possible to submit comments emphasizing the following:

1. Ensuring that Math instructional materials are aligned to both Math and English Language Development (ELD) standards.

2. Ensuring that Math materials and resources are available in students’ home languages to support State Seal Biliteracy goals and programs.

3. Including more specific guidance for districts to consider in their adoption process.

By supporting these recommendations you are helping to ensure that Math materials best meet the needs of California’s culturally and linguistically diverse student population.
