HMP Full Sutton are trying to isolate Mr Ahmed from any form of support he has in the face of incarceration.

His phone calls have been severely restricted. He is limited to one booked call per day at the governors discretion. They have barred him from contacting his family with no explanation, and previously the prison have even stopped him from making legal calls.

His mail is being stopped and held by officers sometimes for up to 3 month before being recieved by him, if ever reaching him at all.

Furthermore, the prison are trying to label him and his family as "terrorists", despite not being convicted of any terror-related offences, and having no links to "terrorist" organisations. This is a clear case of racial profiling and islamophobic harrasment of a Muslim prisoner.

HMP Full Sutton has a long history of victimising, bullying, discriminating and harassing Black and Muslim prisoners, this is the latest in a series of incidents and we cannot let it stand.
