Take Action to Reduce the Carbon in the Walls!

Take action to address the carbon in the walls! Reach out to your legislators and urge them to support three bills that tackle embodied carbon

Embodied carbon - the greenhouse gas emissions arising from the manufacturing, transportation, installation, maintenance, and disposal of building materials - accounts for between 11-25% of our global annual emissions. In spite of this, Massachusetts has yet to incorporate these emissions as part of our efforts to combat the climate crisis.

In order for us to transform our buildings from climate polluters to climate protectors, we must take action to reduce embodied carbon.

Email your state legislators today asking them to co-sponsor three critical bills that would address embodied carbon using an approach that is reasonable, orderly, and effective.
