On September 23, 2021, at ASU’s Multicultural Center—a facility the university specifically designated as a safe space for marginalized people—three queer femme students of color were mocked, berated, and threatened by two white men.

In addition to the thousands of explicit death, rape and lynching threats that these three student-leaders received after the incident, ASU is now charging them with unfounded code of conduct violations that could result in serious disciplinary action, including suspension and/or expulsion.
