Berry Basin Docks Campaign

Kenneth Berry, owner of Berry Island Basin Project has submitted a permit application, #SWG-2025-00662, to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, to construct two NEW carrier docks in La Quinta Channel which would include:

The construction of two 1200 linear-foot docks to provide docking for very large crude oil carriers (VLCCs), handymax vessels, and other similar vessels used for the transportation of energy resources.

This construction would devastate local fish nurseries, further endanger species such as the variety of sea turtles that live in the Gulf, and overwhelmingly disrupt life lived around the Gulf Coast, both human and marine.
