This week a new push for support of the BLOCK THE BOMBS ACT was launched by JVP-Portland. H.R. 3565, the Block the Bombs Act, would block US shipments of weapons that have been used in the mass killings of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. As the Israeli military begins its latest genocidal assault on the people of Gaza, our US representatives must act!

If you haven't already signed the JVP online petition you can find the link on the JVP-Portland website. JPAO has met with Representatives Bonamici and Dexter to urge them to sign on as co-sponsors. We need you to join in this latest effort to persuade all of our Oregon representatives to BACK the BLOCK THE BOMBS ACT.

The Block the Bombs Act, H.R. 3565, was introduced June 5^th by Reps. Delia Ramirez, Pramila Jayapal, Mark Pocan, and Sara Jacobs and has 33 co-sponsors (Aug.22).
