It’s been 52 days (and counting) and management continues to double down on excluding 25% of the workers from our union. After delaying and canceling meetings with our union it’s clear: management is not prioritizing the rights and protections of workers at Dēmos. This decision isn’t about eligibility or needing more time to figure things out. It’s a choice that denies our coworkers the protections of a union contract, disrespects the time and energy of the staff who make Dēmos possible, and aims to weaken our collective power.
