Ontario NDP reinstate Jama
NDP MPP Sarah Jama has just been expelled from the NDP caucus for opposing Israel’s genocidal policies in Gaza. Two weeks ago Jama called for an end to Israeli violence, which has cost more than 5000 Palestinians, including 2000 children, their lives.
In response to her call for a ceasefire, the scandal plagued Ontario Conservative government and corporate media have attacked Jama. In fact, the anti-Palestinian lobby has been hounding Jama since even before she was elected to the legislature.
In response to the legislature’s bid to censure her, Jama repeated her call for a ceasefire and labelled Israel an apartheid state.
If Sarah Jama is not reinstated we urge members of the caucus to withdraw in protest.
