Click "Start Writing" to email the Governor and Climate Action Council!  The NY State Climate Action Council (CAC) is determining how NY State will implement its landmark climate legislation, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA). They and the Governor are facing much pushback from the fossil fuel industry to eliminating fossil fuel emissions.

As the final plan deadline approaches, the council is weakening their own foundational principle that all new buildings must be built without obsolete and expensive fossil fuel systems, starting in 2024.
