The US Navy's public comment period for the Environmental Assessment (EA) for its Columbia-class submarine to be based at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in Washington State is far to short to allow adequate public input on such a critical issue. We must demand that the Navy extend the comment period and hold public hearings.
