Canada must oppose Rwandan violence in Congo

Rwanda and its M23 proxy have recently killed hundreds and displaced hundreds of thousands in eastern Congo. Similar action by Rwanda in the late 1990s spurred an eight-country war that left millions dead.
Canada continues to support Rwandan dictator Paul Kagame while ignoring his government’s aggression against its neighbour. Please call on foreign minister Melanie Joly to condemn Rwanda’s violence and sever all assistance to its military.
