Chorley Borough Council has, so far, refused to publicly call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. This is unacceptable. The people of Chorley proudly stand in solidarity with those around the world fighting oppression - something the Council accepted when Russia invaded Ukraine. Now, however, the Council is refusing to reflect the views of residents and to support those members of our Chorley community who have family in Gaza.
