Tell Coca-Cola to Drop Disposables & Switch to Refillable Bottles

Coca-Cola has been ranked the world’s biggest plastic polluter for the past six years in a row, according to Break Free From Plastic Pollution's annual Brand Audits. Worse yet, in early December 2024, Coca-Cola quietly dropped its pledge to deliver 25% of its products in reusable packaging by 2030, saying it can't be done.

But nothing could be further from the truth. Globally, refillable beverage systems are succeeding in 170 countries around the world, representing 23% of the beverage market. Closer to home, Coca-Cola, itself, has already proven that refillable systems work by running a successful reusable bottle pilot project in El Paso, Texas for a number of years.

Yet Coke stubbornly refuses to expand its refillable system here in the U.S., despite the fact that its successful El Paso project reduces waste, saves money, and delights customers.

Fill out the fields to urge Coca-Cola's EVP and Global Chief Communications, Sustainability & Strategic Partnerships Officer, Beatriz Perez to drop single-use plastic bottles and switch to 100% reusable glass bottles in the U.S. by 2035.
