Urge Your Legislator to Support Nature for MA Legislation!

Massachusetts continues to be impacted by the ongoing threat of climate change, suffering from the loss of biodiversity and the inequitable distribution of the benefits of nature. Massachusetts has made a promise to be net zero by 2050, conserve and protect 30% of the state by 2030, and 40% by 2050. However, the state has not taken the steps needed in order to reach their goals.

Therefore, it is crucial that the Nature for Massachusetts legislation get passed in order for Massachusetts to fulfill their promise in protecting our environment. H.901 (filed by Reps Blais and Montaño) and S.2571 (filed by Senator Feeney) would establish a Nature for All Fund to conserve and restore land to preserve biodiversity, protect clean drinking water, and ensure climate resilience.

Creating a long-term, sustainable funding stream to protect our natural resources and the environment we inhabit is essential to fighting climate change, and we must act now. Take two minutes to fill out the form to send an email to your legislator about your support for this key legislation, and urge them to support H.901/S.2571!
