Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo: Take action to stop the PVSC Gas Plant and pivot to a renewable energy alternative!

The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission intends to move forward soon with plans to build a new gas plant in Newark despite widespread opposition from Newark residents, activists across NJ, and many elected officials at the state and local level including Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo, who added his opposition to the gas plant when a critical permit approval was granted this summer.

We need Essex County Executive Joe DiVincenzo to do more to stop the project. We haven't heard from him since he came out against the project in early July. Please send him a message asking what he is doing to ensure PVSC stops their gas plant proposal and pivots the project to a renewable energy alternative.
