The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is now under heavy attack internally and externally. Recent developments, such as the system-wide shutdown of its work are unprecedented and potentially illegal. The CFPB has worked efficiently and effectively over the years to safeguard consumers in the financial services marketplace. Now it is time for us to protect the CFPB.
