Tell Mayor Rosalynn Bliss, City Manager Mark Washington, and the Grand Rapids City Commissioners that we are tired of waiting for the GRPD to stop beating, killing and racially-profiling Black and brown people. We are done with police who use violence to protect property over people. We demand that they defund the Grand Rapids Police Department and let the communities that have been most impacted by police and systemic racism and violence decide how they want that money to be used. Our community will be safer, not by the violence of policing, but by building it together!
