Demand a Tuition Freeze for UVA

The Covid-19 pandemic is far from over.  The last 7 months have been an intense time of economic and medical hardship. Despite the extraordinary circumstances, UVA opted to continue with increasing tuition by 3.6 percent last year. This was the exception to the rule for public universities in Virginia. William and Mary, VCU, Virginia Tech and more, all reversed previous tuition increases.

We want University of Virginia to recognize the hardship many students face with unemployed family members, being unable to find work, and an increasingly dangerous virus. That's why we are demanding a tuition freeze for the 2021-2022 academic school year, and the 2022-2023 academic school year.

You can help. Write a letter here that will be sent to multiple targets, and convey the urgency of a tuition freeze.
