Our friend Mahmoud Khalil was illegally detained by the Department of Homeland Security on March 8th, 2025. Mahmoud is a greencard holder and his pregnant wife is a US Citizen. They are here legally. ICE detained Mahmoud as retaliation for his activism on Columbia's campus. ICE last night said he is being held in Louisiana.

Mahmoud is a kind and loving friend and has not broken any laws. Please contact your Congressperson and demand Mahmoud's immediate release.

His legal rights have been violated. We need to step up for him.
