The property at the southwest corner of Willow and Pfingsten has been zoned for residential for decades.  There is a proposal for a retail development, which has been formally submitted to the Village of Glenview.  

A retail development would increase traffic on Willow Road and on Pfingsten Road.  It would require two access drives, one on Willow Road and one on Pfingsten Road across from Plaza Del Prado. Adding access points will make the streets and sidewalks less safe. With a high school and a hospital just a mile away, increased traffic congestion will make the intersection more hazardous.  If you are concerned about this, please send a letter to the Village of Glenview Board of Trustees. The Trustees value input from the community and It is important they know how residents feel about this issue.
