As we continue to address this unprecedented health crisis, our community pharmacies are more important than ever. But pharmacies have been under attack in recent years by prescription drug middlemen known as pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).

Out of control DIR fees are among the greatest threats to community pharmacies today. Between 2010 and 2017, DIR fees imposed on pharmacies grew a staggering 45,000%. The strain on pharmacies is not sustainable.

Now, it is critical that we take steps to protect our community pharmacies and ensure they remain there for us when we need them most.
